Dark Currents

HAWKS LANDING is a small Maine town located on a huge,
sprawling river called ,"the Matawahoc". The town is quite
isolated from the modern, outside world. There is literally one
road in and one road out. HL has a population of about 5,000.
It's major employers are Morgan's Mill, wood cutting and
marijuana harvesting. There are several small businesses in the
center of town.
At one time, HAWKS LANDING was an Indian village. The area
is filled with old stories and legends. The land between the river
and the town is kind of a "Bermuda Triangle" for Maine. The
town itself is supposedly cursed. One Indian tale told of an
Indian chief saying "The Matawahoc river shall run Dark
Currents as long as the white man lives on it."

played on over 50 cable systems across the USA.
Cancelled years ago, the legacy lives on here on the
Internet. The first TV show filmed in Mattawamkeag,
Maine can only be found here at this time. A once in a
lifetime project, it was sure was fun to produce!
